Financial Policy

Thank you for choosing Colfax Veterinary Hospital. We strive to provide the best medical and surgical care that we can for your pets. Our hospital requires payment in full at the end of your pet's examination and/or at the time of discharge.

- Convenient Monthly Payment Options from the CareCredit® Healthcare CreditCard

Spay/neuter surgeries and dental procedures require a $25 non-refundable deposit upon reserving an appointment. When making appointments for three or more pets, a non-refundable deposit of $15 per pet is required at time of reservation. Deposits are applied towards final costs of services rendered. Other treatments or hospitalized care may require a deposit based on estimated costs.

Additional Policy Information:

Colfax Veterinary Hospital charges $38 for returned checks. In order to be respectful of the medical needs of all patients, please be courteous and call the hospital promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment. A fee of $25 is charged for clients who miss or cancel more than two appointments in a calendar year without 24 hours notice. Boarding reservations exceeding five days will be charged for the full balance without 24 hours cancellation notice. For clients with pet insurance, we are happy to provide you with the necessary documentation to submit a claim to your insurance carrier.
